Spring colour

The plants that have stayed outside on the metal stand have survived the frost, the rain and all the elements.  They are now displaying beautiful  coloured flowers giving a burst of  colour to the courtyard area beyond the back door.

My extra is of the peonie which has bloomed especially today for the friends who visited, and who gave it to us a few years ago. It was part of their own garden plant when they dug it up to separate the root ball.
