All Washed Up

All washed up is how I felt after two of us had spent part of the afternoon trying to persuade an elderly lady that it was now time for her to sell her flat and to accept permanent nursing home care.  And to persuade her that, having flung money around with gay abandon all her adult life, she will not now be able to afford the kind of nursing home she would like.  Medics and social workers are involved as well, but she has no family, which makes it very difficult for those of us who are trying gently to get her to face reality.

This will do for Derelict Sunday I guess.
