Christmas Cheer

Friday night's party turned out to be a great success and was enjoyed by everyone. Having 35 people in your house for food and drink can sound a bit daunting, but Mrs B had everything well organised and the teacher in her was evident when it came to the party games! The layout of the house, with 5 mostly open planned social areas, lent itself to little sub-parties that tended to consist of all men or all women. The main thing was people were happy and getting into the Christmas spirit.

However, with the grey, wet and stormy weather continuing, there was little to cheer on the blip front. I am trying to avoid blipping indoor Christmas bits and pieces as its not really my thing. Instead, in between showers this afternoon I went out with the camera looking for anything blippable. It was that grey the camera was asking for the flash to be raised. Then a slightly brighter cloud passed overhead just as a little Robin appeared in the bushes beside me. Only got this one shot before it flew off. In fact it was the only shot I managed to get all day. At least it provided a little bit of festive cheer!
