High cirrus (Day 1467)
A phone call late last night meant I had a job to deal with this morning, so I zoomed along to Stromness to fix a problem which had left a restaurant with no water at the end of their service last night.
Details of the job were a bit sketchy and I wasn't sure how long it would take, but at the suggestion of my beautiful wife, I took my riding stuff with me. The job was very straightforward and took only a few minutes to deal with and I met HV at the yard a little later.
We took the horses along the shore, then through the middle of Stromness in the fabulous sunshine. Both of the horses behaved really well today and it was an excellent ride.
After lunch there was time for a wander at Lyde with the woofers and I couldn't resist an over-polarised shot of the high cirrus.
Later, once HV had headed off to work, I spent a while in the garage sorting out my scrap pile.
