Poinsettia

Every year we buy a Poinsettia and every year we manage to kill it off by New Year's Day.

The purchase of this one started badly. At the point of taking the wrapping off we managed to lose two of its four stems.

It's currently strategically placed in a corner to cover up the fact it's a bit bare and this year I've put it in the bathroom in the hope that it will survive better here than in the usual spot of the kitchen.

We are travelling to the South of France tomorrow for our Christmas holidays so its chances of survival are not great.
