Trillium

After a wet night, it was cloudy but the rain was holding off this morning so in the spirit of the day, I wanted to take a walk with my daughter to see if the Trillium (our provincial flower) had bloomed. I am really hoping we get some sunshine this week so I can continue the search for the 'rare' maroon ones. Every year, I have found at least one so I am still hopeful.  These two (the other two colours of Trillium) were showing the effects of all the rain - very dirty.

A very wet Mother's Day but a relaxing one.  I hope you all had lovely days  : )
