All who wander . . .

. . . May or may not be lost. Here we are sporting my car-free Ski-to-Sea team's "Wander Women" swag.

I credit my son and mom with my later-in-life blossoming into a gung-ho surfski kayaker. My son for making it look so cool and for leaving his boat in the garage when he went to college; my mom because she showed it was possible to start late and finish strong--by starting to jog in her 40s and doing a marathon a few years later. And for always being up for something new, including letting me pose her for all these photos.

Here's to the blessings of being and having a mother!
