Mother’s Day
I’m always sentimental on Mother’s Day. I think of my mom, who died when I was only 32. She met Elizabeth, but Stephanie wasn’t born yet. I always wish she would’ve known the girls, who take after her with their blue eyes, blonde hair, and tall stature.
I get sentimental because the girls always write me nice cards and the boys always draw pictures or make special presents. Today Jake gave me this cup with his self portrait, and I know he spent a lot of time drawing the picture, which made me all teary, in a good way.
Today I am grateful to be a mom and a grandma! Nothing I have done in life is as important as these two jobs.
