Well, because of time restrictions today, I've taken this theme literally.
On the left is the door opening, a small step down to the mat and a couple of autumn leaves that have blown in.

I've been very occupied this afternoon judging a Still Life print competition for a photography club.  Job done, comments typed up - a good feeling to have that behind me.

Now the garden autumn clean up awaits....we had 20mm of rain overnight which was needed, so a bit damp underfoot for a day or two.
