Boot Jack

This is the metal gadget I use for removing my wellies. It lives by the back door come rain or shine and never complains about being covered in mud or having its antennae attacked by massive boots.
I always call it a welly boot remover but looked it up and its official name seems to be a boot jack.
A friend once told me it was called a Grigg, but I can find no reference to this.
Or as LooseCanon might call it, ‘ That b*****y metal thing by the back door that I keep tripping over.’
