The View from the Tower

Visited Aulanko Forest Park om Mother's Day. Expected the place to be overrun with families but it wasn't too bad. Most stayed at the hotel for lunch.
This is a view from the top of the ornate granite observation tower. What you see in the distance is the no longer used ski-jump. Such madness seems to have given way to the likes of soccer nowadays and Finland is no longer the power in winter sports that it used to be.
And yes, that slope really is at that crazy steep angle. The birdmen really are the crazies of the sporting world.
