Male Orange-tip
Took my little canine buddy to Pollok Park this morning hoping the walk and playing with his ball would tire him out .... no way! I was the one who had a snooze on the settee when we came home.
Spotted this little Orange Tip butterfly resting at the edge of one of the wooden tubs just outside the vegetable garden .... nowhere to tie Fouter's lead so it just had to be a one handed photo.
According to Google the Orange-tip is a true sign of spring, being one of the first species to emerge that has not overwintered as an adult.
