Leonardslee gardens
We have had an absolutely wonderful day at Leonardslee. It has been re-opened after about a decade of neglect and not being open to the public. It is being completely renovated and tidied up by the new owners, who also own a local golf course. They have done an amazing job so far. The azalea perfume hung in the air, the rhododendrons soared through the trees, and there were still a lot of bluebells. Finally we saw some wallabies really close up. I will put some photos in extras.
We also met a friend who sometimes ran children’s holiday clubs for us at our previous church. That was a nice surprise!
