Anomaly

My hibiscus plant provided me with a bit of an anomaly this afternoon - It's petals curled over on themselves and created a star shape. A pretty deviation from the norm. Which brings me to definition of "Anomaly": "An anomaly is any occurrence or object that is strange, unusual, or unique. It can also mean a discrepancy or deviation from an established rule." Scientists, anomalists, actually exist who spend their careers studies anomalies. I had decided this morning that photojournalism would be a dream job, but being an anomalist could be equally interesting. Think of the possibilities...
