Spontaneous party

It doesn't get mentioned very often, but I have a stepbrother! His name is Gordon, and he turned 33 today. As is customary on the day, I send him birthday greetings, but today, Gordon responded and we got into a chat (over WhatsApp) and it resulted in G & me being invited for a spontaneous family meal.

We walked over and it turned out to be a bit bigger than I expected! This is the picture recorded for posterity. There were a few more kids in the house but they had been put to bed.

This is the first Sunday in Ramadan and I drove G to work and then did the weekly shop before picking her up. It's getting much warmer, so she appreciated not having to drive home in a boiling hot car. :)
