Mono Monday: On the doorstep

Living close to Bath and working in Bristol, with the Mendips down the road I have no excuse for not providing you with a more exciting image for this week's Mono Monday challenge, save that its been a rather busy long day at work and there's not been an opportunity to go and take something more interesting.  

Well, that's not strictly true, but I was quite keen to get home at the end of the day to have dinner with Cathy and decided that on this occasion Blip would just have to come second.  So instead, here is a picture of the last open osteospermum in the garden which was enjoying a shaft of reflected light most of its fellows having decided that it was long since time to close up the old petals for the night.
