Spring clean

The sunshine has enthused me to get some sprucing up done.  It's alarming what I've noticed when looking around the house with a critical eye.

All the boy's bedrooms desperately need painting and even more desperately need sorting out.  No wonder Ben has kept his clothes in piles on the floor for the last 2 years: there is no room in his wardrobe which was full of shoe boxes, footballs, ripped jeans and too-small tee shirts.

I've spent at least 7 hours (smiling fondly over some of the memories) but putting it all into James's room (pictured) and when he gets home in a month's time I'm setting him the task of selecting only the stuff that needs to go back in.
