Apricots

Finding a pile of fresh apricots reduced from £1.50 down to 65p for a pack of eight in the supermarket yesterday was just too tempting. I bought three packs to make jam. They were 'ripen at home' so I put them in the sunroom for a few hours, to finish off.

Then we decided that, as we have a cupboardful of jam already, I should make chutney. So I did, five small jars of it.
