Busy Workspace

I spent a very pleasant and interesting afternoon at the Musuem of Flight down at East Fortune where the star of the show is Concorde G-BAOO. You have the chance to walk through the cabin where the rich and famous would sip their champagne and get stuck into their steak and trimmings. Up toward the pointy end you can peer into the cockpit which has one or two switches!

The scond image is at the business end of a Vulcan bomber (XM597) which was part of the longest bombing mission ever. Operation Balck Buck was an impressive but mostly ineffective attempt to deny the Argentine forces the use of the airfield at Port Stanley in the Falklands.

The Musuem is well worth a visit if you like things that go up in the sky and stay there until you want bring them down in one piece.
