Mother’s Day

Today it’s Mother’s Day in the Netherlands. After the traditional breakfast in bed and gifts for Martine, we headed to de Postwagen in Tolbert, where we attempted an escape room. We had an hour to escape and it took us only 40 minutes. Not bad, considering half of the groups fail to escape at all and the average time of the teams that do escape is around 50 minutes. We were the number one team of the day, but then we were also the only team until that point... We also ranked number 7 in the month ranking so I guess we did quite well!

After the escape room, Martine’s parents joined us for lunch at de Postwagen. After that I watched Formula 1 and some football. Plans to go out for a sunset shoot were cut short when Inge found out she had a lot of homework to do so Martine and I helped her a bit with that.
