the woods

Today was the day we chose to decorate the house. Before we could do that we needed a trip to the woods to forage (ok not a lot of foraging needed) for holly to complete the decorations.

It was early afternoon, but the sun was disappearing fast and the wind was well windy. And it had been far too long since I had been to the woods, nature has changed the paths since my last visit.

The tree is up, the rest of the decorations are getting there, let the festivities begin.
