The Shambles market

Helena was away for the weekend in London, so I had to look after the stall in the indoor market in The Shambles held in the last building on the lefthand. I think there have been markets held here for at least four hundred years.

I wanted to get a breath of fresh air and some sunshine so I walked through the market and stood to people watch between two stalls. I'm always amazed and pleased by the number of visitors to the town and the local area. They all seem very happy to be here.
