Such a sad day to hear that Doris Day has died at 97 (a terrific innings though!)

She was my absolute film & song heroine and I grew up watching Calamity Jane every Christmas and singing ‘Secret Love’ all around the house :-)

On a trip to the west coast of USA one of my highlights was finding her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and her hands & footprints @ Grauman’s Chinese Theatre :-D

Little Miss & her housemates watched Calamity Jane tonight - I’m sure lots of her other films will be screened on tv over the next couple of weeks:-)
