An impromptu afternoon out

Today I had thought you were almost guaranteed to get a shot of my now-finished Christmas cake (for the curious, it is now covered with (very) roughly applied beaten royal icing and adorned with lovingly hand-crafted shop-bought snowman - the Snowman, of course - and Christmas tree figures), but instead I bring you.... gargoyles!

We went down to see Mr G's parents again today, and to say hello to the newly arrived visitors from Romania... and ended up taking them for a quick trip down the motorway to Windsor for a mooch round the castle. As you do. It was fun, and I got to branch out a bit for today's blip.
