Nesting in the penthouse

It's been another beautiful day so F and I went to Venus Pool Nature Reserve.  There were very few birds around although we did spot a pair of shelducks with six chicks.

After a while we carried on to Attingham Park where we had the picnic that we'd taken.

We went for a walk in the parkland which was looking beautiful with lots of wild flowers.  We spotted an old tree that had a hole where a pair of Great Tits were nesting. Above them was another hole and we watched a pair of Blue Tits taking caterpillars inside.  The blip is of one of the Blue Tits having a look around before flying off to find more food.

When we got back we had fish and chips from the village chippie.
