Glorious Spring day....
with temperatures reaching 23C! Lovely and comfortable for walking along the river, with Sandpipers, Willow Warblers and Oystercatchers all calling. Cuckoo flowers, Violets, Stitchwort were abundant.
With this heat for the last two days visited the early dragonfly lochan and found this Four Spotted Chaser newly emerged and as seen in the extra, the fluids just pumping into his wings. There were also some Blue tailed and Large Red damselflies at the transparent early stage too. There were still plenty of Green Hairstreak butterflies playing around the Blaeberries and Orangetips on the Cuckoo flowers.
Wonderful day!
