Paul Brannen, Labour MEP for the North-East since 2014 and a candidate in the European Parliamentary Elections was in Allendale today.

Paul is a member of the European Parliament’s environment, public health and food safety committee and agriculture and rural development committee and certainly knows his onions when it comes to farming and rural areas.

Over 30 people attended an open meeting at The King’s Head pub and a wide ranging discussion was had.
