Coming along

The builders are making great progress on the extension. I've been talking about it for a few weeks, so I thought I'd better blip a work in progress shot.

I'm glad to be working from home this month, so I can keep an eye on progress, and adjust things as they go along. Like today, we decided to change the plan so that the existing concrete lintel is cased in wood, to give the impression of a beam. Also, as they are rendering the exterior, I will carve a design in the surface of the wall, to add a permanent design feature!

Other than keeping the builders supplied with cuppas, I had a lot of work to do at the computer, and also had a good Clay Club session.
