Almond?

Another trek along Montgomery St to the dentist - this was for a very brief appointment when the lovely Ross fitted the new crown (replacing a strange Heath Robinson arrangement that had been there for 20 yrs or so) and relieved me of a considerable amount of dosh.

There was a half broken branch of a tree hanging down over the pavement - it may even have been this tree - but it's now looking mighty sick, with these obscene red galls all over the leaves. Think it might be an almond.
