Festive Embroidery

Back in the late 1960s my mother bought a Christmas table runner in Germany to embroider when she got home. She bought the thread in Germany, too, and was so excited by the sparkly gold thread. So here it is, a memory of Christmas past, a delight in Christmas present and a treasure for Christmas future.

Back-blipping this for yesterday when the arrival of my daughter and her baby guinea pigs made me forget all about blipping! (Yes, I know. Hard to believe!)
