Sun shadows

Thank goodness for Doug!  I had an appointment scheduled this morning with a specialist whose office is in one of the old hospitals that give Seattle's "Pill Hill' its name, and he drove me there.  It was raining, the traffic crawled all the way to and through downtown, and when we got there the street was blocked with cars trying to park.  He dropped me off and set out to look for a parking space.   My visit with the doctor went well and we planned a follow-up, but I told her I couldn't bear the thought of making that trip again.  To my surprise, she told me that she works two days a week at a satellite clinic located in University Village, a huge upscale outdoor shopping mall near UW.  I can drive there on my own and there's plenty of parking.  That was an enormous relief.
