Herd Mentality

I read a thought provoking letter in the newspaper today about the lynch mob that is pursuing bank executives (a subject close to my heart), and wondered if the same could apply to Blipfoto.

I certainly felt a feeling of acceptance into the fold after the comments and responses I received in yesterday's blip, but is that what all this is about? Are we seeking acceptance by following the crowd and mimicing our Blip-peers? I don't deny that it's a fantastic bonus to receive kind feedback, but when linuxgamer introduced me to the site, I liked the idea of exploring the creativity of photography more.

What am I waffling about? I think I'll let the picture do the talking.
