Cleaning the Lake

Spent the day around the main lake in Nanjing, going around several of the islands in the lake. One of those had a pagoda that now houses a Librairie Avant-Garde. This seemed to specialise in insect life, with books and other items for everyone from children through to some very tasteful cards.

They also had a rose tea, served with cookies that was rather delicious!

Finished up with a ferry ride back to land, near the main railway station, which has a magnificent stainless steel sculpture in its forecourt.

A couple more in extras, minimal processing has been done.
