Lowther Castle

Back-blip


Called at Lowther Castle on the way back from the Lakes. We have an annual pass so we can go as often as we like. It looked beautiful in the sunshine.

Had a coffee in the courtyard and a wander around the grounds. It was very peaceful.

Was a bit anxious when I got home... my dad was having a little op the following day so that (and a few other things) was preying on my mind. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and trapped in my own brain I took myself out on to the canal and river with my camera and walked to Saltaire and back. I saw a heron and returned feeling much better.
