Added Value

The works in the garden continue...about half of the gabions are installed now. We’re hoping it’s adding value to the property but we’ve gained lots of garden ground. Helping us is a chap from Lithuania who comes over to work for the company periodically...he’s a valued member of staff and worth his weight in gold. Currently he’s got an hours drive to get here and he’s grafting from 8am to 9pm, then another hours drive...he never stops...great value for money

My blip shows the garden as it was today; the lads at work; a closer view of the garden gain and a view from last autumn to show the difference.

In other news (extra) the baby head count has risen to at least 6...an insect flew over the nest as I had the binoculars trained on them and all the little heads shot up! Both mother and father have been busy foraging for food all day to keep them fed. The mother is looking very bonny...motherhood seems to suit her!
