All quiet

After yesterdays wasted journey I decided a nice easy stroll down to the duckponds would be enough for today. All was quiet as everyone seemed to be sleeping (even those pesky seagulls), but it hasn't been like it all the time. Mrs Swan has been chasing the ducklings around and has caught one on a couple of occasions and we suspect that she may have killed one, or wounded one that has then been attacked by something else. There is now only five ducklings.
Sure enough shortly after taking these photos she woke up went back onto the pond and within a few minutes was chasing after them again, never bothers the ducks only the ducklings. Fortunately with a little help she failed to catch them.
The baby swans are all doing well and looking bigger already.
