Tis the season #23

Our church, St. Cuthberts, in the aftermath of tonight's 'Lessons and Carols' service. It follows a format begun in Kings' College Chapel, Cambridge in 1918 introduced by the newly appointed Dean and ex miltary Chaplain, Eric Milner-White. The service was first broadcast to the nation in 1928 and the tradition was taken up by Churches nation wide and across the denominations; including ours. Incidentally this was where Mrs. Legodude and I got married in July this year. Caught up on all your journals tonight :)
