Pre -Raphaelite art

" William Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator, and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production."
I love his designs and colour schemes. 


I received this lovely William Morris designed notebook for my birthday! I had chosen it already when visiting an art exhibition earlier this year.


I love hard-cover notebooks and have quite a few. I use them for reflections, for noteworthy quotations and for personal thoughts.


I have included the first entry in this new notebook. It was on one of my birthday cards which you saw on my May 15th entry!  Some things are really worth remembering!
