The edge (Day 1471)

I was disappointed this morning to find that the sun had vanished and that I had to wander the woofers up the hill under a blanket of haar. The wind had returned and it was chilly again. After such great weather recently it was a bit of a shock to the system.
By the time I was driving through to Stromness for work a bit later, the haar had started to burn off and the sunshine was back. The cold wind remained. The first job was done relatively quickly and I was soon on to EllyJay's for a couple of jobs which took me up to lunchtime and time to scoot home to meet up with my beautiful wife for lunch.
Woofer wandering this afternoon was north along the cliffs at Yesnaby, away from the crowds of folks heading south. The wind was a fair bit stronger and the walk was a blustery one. We saw a few tourists dressed as if about to undertake an exploratory trip to the Arctic. HV ambled along in a T-shirt today.
The cloudless sky over the view to the north was worth a blip today.
