Many headed Poppy

Some Poppy stems grow tall and straight but this one, growing beside the gate of a nearby house, reminds me of the Hydra from Greek mythology. The Hydra was a many headed sea monster .... if one head was cut off two more would grow back in its place.

Not quite so warm today so after going to the local Insurance Agent to pay my car insurance, visiting the chemist to request a repeat prescription and ordering some Japanese Yen for my niece's birthday I was able to spend some time working in the garden ..... now it's time to put my feet up and watch The Repair Shop.
