Friends and Angels
The first celebration day of Christmas started badly with firstborn son phoning from Bristol to say trains were cancelled due to flooding. Second born son phoned minutes later to be collected from a nearby town following party night (and well into early morning). However the day improved when both sons made it home, intrepid firstborn using a manner of transport solutions to navigate the South West of England.
Final Choir rehearsal for Carols by Candlelight went well and the service even better. Then on to our friends house for our traditional Christmas party night which they've been hosting for around 8 or 9 years since their children were tiny and ours were teenagers. Now their's are teenagers and ours are grown up but they still all get on and we have a lovely catch up !
My blip is my little angel given by a lovely friend several years ago that makes me smile each time I unwrap her from the tissue paper. The resemblance to that friend is quite remarkable ! Which is why she is named Clare.
