Eider

Three birds in three days won't be bringing the crowds to my blip. I couldn't however resist this resplendent Eider bobbing up and down on the shoreline of Stinky Bay.
My turn to be medicalised with a doctor's appointment in the morning (so early I had to leave Tricia with our Airbnb guest munching breakfast)  and the knee consultant in the afternoon. All very exciting.
It did however provide an opportunity to catch up with the phalarope again before time for a coffee.
Off then for a stroll on North Uist where we got dragged into an acquaintance's house there for a coffee and to see their stunning house and equally impressive views.
To finish the day off, the excitement of dropping the car off at the garage for some work on it tomorrow and negotiating a lift home.
