Light in the darkness

Today we had our Christmas candlelight service. One of my favorite services of the year! I absolutely love the candlelight! It was a great reminder that the first Christmas was when the light for this dark world was born in the form of a baby in a manger ... And that over 2,000 years later, He is still our light in the darkness!

There is also a time of remembrance during this service for our loved ones gone before us and my heat is both saddened by the absence of my mom and babies but finds comfort that they are in his presence!
