Under the Ammonite.

For 15 years I have been cutting the grass at the holiday lodge and every time I have lifted a large replica Ammonite to mow across its area.  Every year there they are, a colony of ants.  I leave them a few minutes while they disappear under ground taking their young and eggs with them.  Then I run the mower over and replace the Ammonite.

In all this time I have never been bitten.  They run over my hands both at the start and the end of the operation but never bite.  Equally they have never ventured into the building.  So we coexist very well.
