A wonderful gift

Today I was treated to an afternoon hiking with Patrick & Nick. We love hiking through mountains, exploring caves and visiting our local parks. It was nice to have some quiet time together away from video games, tv, and holiday tasks just to listen to each other & share some laughs.

Nick is comfortable feeding most birds except a few larger ones. He worked up the courage for this one to land in his hand. We washed thoroughly before leaving and having some hot cocoa. It was the best gift the two could've given me for Christmas...just time with them. We had a blast!
