Beach of a day

The only thing left standing of the fort that our next door neighbour made for his son is this. Last year a bunch of kids torched it down which was a shame cos a lot of the locals here sat on it and admired the beautiful beach.

Holidays at my parents in the south coast, this happens every year. I love the fact that I can get up in the morning and my neighbour across the road is the beach.

Love going down here, people are friendly, and people are not afraid to leave their front door open while you go out for a swim or a paddle.

While I walked up and down this peaceful beach I see the joy in people's faces, the hellos when you walk past. I just love it. The waves crashing by the rock pool, touching my feet and the gentle push it gives you.

I wish life was a beach.
