to be up Narradale

My aim is to go to places that I have never been to before.  Happily I did not have to travel far because this location is only three miles from home.

One can see the roofless old barn but I failed to find any bee boles around the old farm buildings.

Notice the upstanding metal object in the bottom left hand side of the picture.  To this there would have been attached the apparatus for tethering a pony.  The pony would then have walked around in circles to provide power in the barn for milling oats etc.  They are a very common sight at old Manx tholtans.
