Mascara?

Can you see the two men busy refreshing Buddha's eyes'? It is a very auspicious time around these parts, but it's nowt to do with Baby Jesus. I am not sure what is going on but it involves a lot (more) of incense, decorations, chanting and walking around the stupa. Everyday something different happens at the supa stupa :-)

Today's task was to do Christmas shopping so we went into central Kathmandu. This was rather pleasant as Saturday is a "holiday" here, the only one of the week which means closed shops and half empty roads. Christmas shopping in relative peace, super.

And we got everything we needed. And some other things we probably don't :-)

Stomach getting stronger, eating more now, still scared of chili...
