A moving day
Today started with a visit to the Nanjing Museum. I could have done with a lot more time there, but the next stop was worth missing out on that extra time.
The second stop was at the Nanjing Massacre Memorial, a tribute to the over 300,000 people massacred by Japanese troops in the 1930s. Not something that I had ever learnt much about. A very well designed and implemented exhibition, centring on the horrors, but also on the city's desire for peace and reconciliation.
A few more in extras, all from the memorial.
