Bird Atlassing
H and I spent a great morning at the Rietvlei Nature Reserve, atlassing for the Southern African Bird Atlas Project ( SABAP2).
We recorded a total of 63 species during the outing, some of which are pictured in my blip.
Clockwise from top left:
Cape Longclaw (Macronyx capensis)
White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus)
Crowned Lapwing (Vannellus coronatus)
Buffy Pipit (Anthus vaalensis)
African Wattled Lapwing (Vannellus senegallus)
